About Plan-ed School Linking

“I think the link is good because we can find out what they want to do – what their hopes and dreams are and how they see life over there. I want to be an actor when I leave school and I want to know what students in Kenya want to be and whether their families want them to be something different.”

How does Plan-ed’s School Linking Programme enhance the curriculum?

The programme is run by teachers for teachers. It will help your pupils to gain invaluable life experience and develop their skills in PSHE and Citizenship, Geography, English, Art, Music, Dance and Drama, History, Science and more.

School Linking supports the implementation of the ‘Global dimension’, ‘Every Child Matters’ and your School Development Plan.

Taking part also helps achieve the ‘Education For All’ goals, and fulfils the Government’s aim of setting up an international link in every British school. Our resource pack incorporates the new Key Stage 3 curriculum.

How much does it cost?

The total cost of being part of the programme is £600 a year. £400 of that pays for the benefits you receive and £200 goes directly to your link school’s development fund, to pay for educational resources of their choice.
