Hello!

Hello there, I am a student here at Easingwold Secondary in North Yorkshire. I’m 13 years old and will be writing in this blog to let the world know what our school is up to.

Greetings from Courtland School

Hello
This is Louise de Ayala wishing you all a happy term.
We had a very snowy start to our year and school was shut for 3 days. The children were so excited and when they returned made giant snowballs and snow people in the playground.
Our Year 3 and 4 children will be sending you some work soon about a day in their lives at school and at home. Hope all is well and we'll hear from you soon.

A snowy start to the new year

We returned to school after our two-week Christmas holiday exactly two weeks ago today, but in fact we've had more days off school than days in class! Heavy snowfall meant our school was not open for several days. Our school is at the top of a steep hill and the snow made the roads impossible to drive on so most of the teachers couldn't get to work as very few of them actually live in the same town as the school. However, our pupils weren't complaining! This amount of snow is unusual here so they had great fun sledging, building igloos and making snowmen!

School Closed

School is closed today. Too much snow has fallen and it's dangerous for the children to travel to school. The cars are sliding across slippy roads! The children are really happy - two days to play in the snow! We don't normally get this much snow - it's the first time I've ever worked in a school that has closed because of snow!

Hopefully school will be open tomorrow (Friday).

Hello!

Hello,
This is Emma Draper from Lidget Green Primary School,
I hope that we can begin to use this to communicate together regularly.
There is so much snow here, school is closed! Something I am sure you do not have to deal with!!
We will send you some photographs soon.

Thank you for the letters and photographs and objects you sent us, the children were really excited when we recieved them.

I look forward to hearing from you soon

Emma

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. It's our first day back at school in the new year, always an exciting time full of hope and expectation from both staff and pupils.

Welcome!

Hello!
This is our first blog so I will introduce myself. I am Mrs Harrison, Class 4's teacher. This term we have been learning all about Kenya and look forward to hearing from our Link school. We have also sent a box of resources and information about ourselves so we hope our link partner school like it.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Mrs Harrison and Class 4

Hi everybody from Rooks Heath

Hi All
Just to say congratulations on having ICT training. It will be instant communication from now on. We will be able to set up a forum where we can contribute to each others comments.

Watch out for when the system goes down; make sure you have saved your work and have a back up!! Don't forget your evaluation...further training needed on WIKI

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in February. Have a good day, enjoy your training.
Love from all of us here at RHC.

Regards

Catherine

School Council

Democracy came to St.Joseph's In The Park this term.  The children voted in their representatives on the School Council.

The aim is to give the children a voice in the things that matter to them.  First is a pupil questionaire about how they feel about school.  We will let you know the results.
